Long before I founded Bliss & Flourish Co, I was the kind of person who noticed the flyers on bulletin boards. I’ve always loved seeing how businesses show up in their communities—how they share their voice, invite connection, and make people feel something. So when marketing moved online, I didn’t resist it. I leaned in.

As a business owner since 2013, I never struggled to promote myself. I understood how to pull out what mattered, connect it to the right people, and make it feel like a natural extension of the brand. What I did notice? Most other business owners hated it.
Marketing felt like pressure. Like another to-do. Like something they had to do to survive. Even the ones who had solid businesses and strong systems still burned out when it came to showing up, being visible, and staying consistent. And as a business coach, I watched that burnout pattern repeat (again and again).
At first, I helped solopreneurs fix the structural issues that were draining them: misaligned pricing, over-delivering, unclear messaging, lack of boundaries. I taught them how to build businesses that love them back. But eventually, a new pattern emerged.
Even clients with strong operations and solid offerings were struggling with growth. Why?
Because they had no marketing strategy or worse, they were trying to do it all themselves. Marketing became a source of shame and dread. They weren’t experts in it, and they couldn’t see their own brand clearly. But instead of building the support they needed, they blamed themselves and kept pushing.
That’s when I realized they didn’t need more pressure.
They needed a partner.
Someone who could translate their vision into strategy, their strengths into positioning, and their momentum into a marketing ecosystem that actually works.
Bliss & Flourish Co was born from that shift.
What started as coaching founders through growth decisions quickly turned into the realization that business owners need senior level support from someone who can own the marketing function completely.
They didn’t want another template, they didn’t need a viral moment, and they certainly didn’t need another “mindset” shift.
These founders needed someone who could lead with strategy, bring creative clarity, and design marketing rhythms that actually worked for their business, their team, and their life.
Now, I help small business founders operating between $250k and $1.5M become the go-to in their community.

Hey, I’m Kate Gibbs: growth strategist, Fractional CMO, and founder of Bliss & Flourish Co.

All of that is a fancy way of saying, I am a translator for your heart, brand, and business.

As an entrepreneur of over 13 years, I’ve always believed marketing should feel like connection, not pressure. While most people saw marketing as a drain, I saw it as a rhythm—a way to build relationships, share your voice, and show up with intention.

What started as business coaching quickly evolved. Clients came to me not just for clarity on their offers—but because they wanted the kind of strategic, sustainable marketing I was using myself. Eventually, they stopped asking, “Can you teach me how?” and started asking, “Can you do it with me?”

That’s how Bliss & Flourish Co was born.
